Came here for brunch on a Saturday. Overall really impressed with this place. The service was welcoming, the atmosphere was great, and the food was amazing.
I ordered the chicken and waffles and was blown away by the seasoning of the chicken, the crispness of the waffles, and the richness of the syrup and butter. 10/10 best chicken and waffles I've had, and I've been to Texas and LA and had some there.
Service: 10/10
Atmosphere: 9.8/10
Parking: Street parking
Menu: 8/10
Would recommend for anyone to try!! -

We went during the #Brunchingmakesyoublack event so it was very packed and a more limited menu. The servers there were incredibly friendly and you could sense the pride they have in their restaurant fairly easily.
I had the Chicken tenders and waffles along with pork sausage. Sausage wasn't incredibly burnt in its outer texture but has great flavor when I bit into it. The Chicken was very good and crispy - always have to put some Franks Red Hot on it. The waffle was perfectly fine but nothing incredible. I thought it could have used some more flavor.
I'll definitely return!! The street it's located on has heavy construction so be ready to park a few blocks away. -

Friendliest people and delicious coffee. The catfish and grits breakfast is my favorite thing. While that dish isn't super healthy, it really was so good, I can't help but eat it. Grits are buttery - just like I want them.

Came here for the first time this Sunday to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. The atmosphere was calm, staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. I had a taste of my wife's fish with egg and grits, and thought it was an amazing combination(never had fish in my breakfast plate before). I had the polish sausage with eggs, but what made my eyes pop out of my sockets were the potatoes. You have to try them with everything they usually have in it. You won't regret it. I hope to be back soon.
